MediHub is a free medicine availability and pharmacy search website. You do not need an account to search. This page explains the limited data we collect to operate and improve the site.
What we collect
- Anonymous usage data through Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymization enabled.
- Search terms: when you search, the medicine name you type is sent to Google Analytics as a search event so we can see which medicines and pharmacies are missing. It is not linked to your name, and it is not included in the visit ping.
- A one-time daily visit ping that records device type, page path, referrer, interface language, and selected country. This is used to understand which markets people search.
- Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and requested URL, kept only as needed to run and secure the site.
What we do not collect
- We do not create user accounts or store passwords.
- We do not collect health records, prescriptions, or payment card details. Purchases happen on the pharmacy website you choose.
- We do not sell personal information.
Health calculators
The health calculators run entirely in your browser. The values you enter (such as weight, dates of your periods, pregnancy or lab results) are not sent to MediHub, are not put in the page address, and are not sent to Google Analytics. Analytics on calculator pages records only that the page was viewed.
Stored on your device
Your browser’s local storage keeps a few preferences so you don’t have to set them again: your selected country, interface language, metric or imperial units for the calculators, any medication reminders you save in the US tools, and the date of the last daily visit ping. You can clear them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Cookies
Analytics cookies may be set by Google Analytics. Advertising cookies may be set by Google AdSense to show ads and measure how they perform. You can block cookies in your browser. The price comparison still works without an account.
Your consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google asks before advertising or analytics cookies are used, and before ads are personalised. Until you choose, Google Analytics and AdSense run in consent mode without those cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the privacy and cookie settings link on the page.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display ads that help keep MediHub free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Learn more in Google’s advertising policies.
Third parties
When you open a buy or details link, you leave MediHub and the pharmacy’s privacy policy applies. Country flags may load from a public flag image CDN. Google AdSense and Google Analytics are third-party services that process limited visit data under their own policies.
